Why I SPENGA! Member Testimonial

I saw a Facebook ad for SPENGA in Spring of 2022 and it sounded perfect: 20 minutes cycling, 20 minutes strength, 20 minutes yoga. I’d grown bored with my regular group fitness classes of 60-minute cardio or 60-minute strength and frustrated by trying to fit in the time. I immediately signed up.

Flash-forward two years and I’m never bored. The instructors go out of their way to put their own signature on the classes, make them fun with creative playlists (the playlist is EVERYTHING to me!), and keep us challenged. Last year I joined the You vs. You challenge that took my journey even further and, to date, I’ve lost 33 pounds and nearly doubled the amount of weights in the strength portion of class.  While losing weight was important to me, I have to say the increase in my energy level and confidence is the greatest gain.

Committing to a fitness center can be an investment, but I think I receive the most from my membership in improved health, fitness level and overall well being.  When someone comments on the cost of membership, I always counter with, “Yes it is an expense, but being unhealthy is so much more costly in the long run” and the support of staff and other members is the secret ingredient to making SPENGA a first-class center.
